Committed to the vision of being recognised as a 'Centre of Excellence' in the Middle East, Al-Futtaim Training Centre is placing high focus in 2010 on expanding the access of its products and services to Al-Futtaim's interests in Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman and the GCC. This strategic step will provide an approach to learning and development which will establish Al-Futtaim standards, organisational efficiencies and added value to the ever growing number of Al-Futtaim companies in the region.

Plans are in place to implement a learning management system, supply e-learning products and deliver distance learning through WebEx technology and self-paced learning. The first step in Al-Futtaim Training Centre's commitment is to set travel dates for training courses on a regional training calendar. This will provide immediate support to commercial success through sales and customer service programmes. Certain weeks throughout the year have been selected so that dedicated Al-Futtaim Training Centre trainers are able to plan trips throughout the region to support local learning and development needs.
