The number of new systems, business expansions and organisational changes occurring or underway within Al-Futtaim has meant that project management competency development is becoming extremely important. As a consequence, Al-Futtaim Training Centre now offers the project management strategy programme, COUNTDOWN® in its 2010 training calendar.

Making its debut in the Middle East this month and led by a trainer from the United States, the programme was extremely well received. Project teams from across Al-Futtaim participated in the one-day programme, the thrust of which was an intense seven-month project.

The programme which concludes with a successful project model, introduces key tools, concepts, processes and successful project team behaviours as well as how to assess a project's ultimate success.
