"I started with implementing these selling Skills in our Auto Part sales sector and developing customer's trust, making customer our partner and approaching them with the right attitude. I improved my product knowledge and made sure that it reaches our customers.
Gave ample time for customer to express his opinion and improved my listening and understanding skills. Made my approach and thinking customer oriented and improved customer satisfaction level. Made our customers feel more comfortable and valued, which resulted in improved sales.
"After my training there was a productive increase of 15 % to 20 % in my sales and that profited our business to a good extent."

"I attended Evolving Supervisor in Dec'10 and Step Up in May'11. As a result I reduced average time to fill from 45 days to 40 days for sales and customer service roles - hence enabling the employees to join the business sooner and impact the business growth and customer satisfaction rating. I was assigned additional business to handle recruitment. Having learnt the different stages of Change and effective communication, it helped me to understand and exceed expectations of my hiring managers. I also received appreciation from the business (hiring managers), customers, colleagues and line manager."

"As a result of undertaking a SWOT analysis of my business, during Frontline Business Management Programme I Identified areas for savings that has now been actioned. I saved 11.12% advertising commission which made AED 155680/- Savings!"

"On the 19th of August 2010, the Al Futtaim Training Center announced that it certified five trainers in the regional locations of Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and Bahrain. These trainers were certified as part of the regional training strategy to create training sustenance in the regions. The idea was to give each region independence in basic skills around customer service skills and sales. In addition to classroom delivery, a part of the certification to ensure commercial outcomes and return on investment was the tracking of learning on the Kirkpatricks evaluation measurement cycle.
In the month of May this year, Ahmed El Sharief, the regional trainer in Egypt and store manager of the ToysRus Dandy store, organized and conducted customer service and selling skills trainings for all the ToysRus Egypt staff. His candidates included all the staff from the four TRU Egypt stores including the department managers. Ahmed arranged for a training venue and also assessments on the level 1 and level 2 Kirkpatricks learning measurements.
All in all 45 candidates have been through 720 training man hours on customer service and selling skills in TRU Egypt and will now be measured on their CSI and sales figures as part of Level 3 measurement of learning impact. Syed Mukarram from AFTC had run the regional sustenance program for all the regional trainers and his focus now is on getting more businesses to run their own trainings with all the basics taken care of. AFTC's initiative has saved TRU Egypt the cost of flying a trainer out from Dubai and has also created for the regional countries more access to learning and development services."

"The “Basic guide of Selling” training provided me a lot of information and knowledge in properly dealing with my clients. It brought me into better understanding of my customers’ needs by letting them talk first rather than me feeding them information right from the start. I can grasp more pertinent information by listening to them.
In addition, right after the training, having learned how to do questioning in a proper manner, I started putting that into practice, wherein I’d captured more information I wanted by asking my clients the proper questions with the combination of Open, Closed and Probing questions, which is very helpful in dealing with clients whose in the hunt for their dream house!
“Basic Guide of Selling” – was indeed worth attending for!"

"Born a natural leader or trained to lead will still remain a debatable motion that will still depend on each person’s view.
Personally through leadership training at Al Futtaim Training Centre, I have acquired more than I ever thought in my career. The training has made me to discover more about me that was hidden to even myself.
The training was dealing with real working environment that is practical to any working atmosphere. The training perfectly made me understand my strengths and weaknesses and ways to adjust on my weaknesses to be a perfect leader. So many people have confused leadership and management and at end of the day they find themselves in stressful working environment.
Through the training, I am able to effectively communicate with my team members, motivate staff, manage time, delegate duties and encourage team work by valuing diversity whatsoever. All these might sound simple just to mention, however putting in practice each and every time should be a culture in you and through training, I was able to understand each concept properly in a very simple way that one couldn’t imagine.
I highly appreciate the high quality of training because eventually when I was promoted to supervisor level, I was well equipped and ready for the position. It mould me to a different person and things have been going positive especially when you are ready for the stages of change i.e. denial, resistance, adjustment and involvement.
Last but not least, I take this opportunity to thank Al Futtaim group for providing us with this excellent training which is rarely available in other companies.
I would also like to thank the training center for its wonderful effort that enabled the training to be fruitful and success."

"I recently participated in the TDC exercise which was presented to us as a tool to be used by the business to identify the skill level of the middle managers. We were further assured that the purpose behind this exercise was for our personal development and to enhance our career growth opportunities.
The exercises were challenging in some parts and an interesting analysis of me and my preferred management style versus ability. The mixture of exercises (analytical and operational) made me challenge myself from the day to day routine and from the assumption that I use all of the skills I have in the workplace regularly. The duration of the exercise was short but with a large amount of tangible evidence across various headings to give me an insight in to my development areas and strengths
The opportunity to have a feedback session with my line manager to discuss the results and a personal development plan was very valuable from a personal point of view.
I would strongly recommend that any manager interested in personal development participates in this exercise and is proactive in driving their career growth by using all the feedback positively

“The training on Interpersonal skills was really helpful and very much useful for my day today business. I have learnt so many things/skills from it and I am sure it will make me perfect in my routine job and also in future.
Earlier days I had lot of problem in communication with my colleagues & with other departments but now Alhamdulillah I don’t have such problem with any job.
Also let me tell you I have faced many of problems with my manager; your advice and guidance not only solve this issue but also help me how act in similar situation.”

"I was part of the team that completed the 'Highly Effective Presentations' training that concluded yesterday.
This has been one of the best training sessions that I have been involved in. The trainers style of instruction, presentation and interaction was of the highest quality. There was not a single dull moment over the 2 days.
It was a pleasure to observe the growing confidence of our group as well as the amazing progression in our quality of presentations. The Trainer helped us relate, fine-tune and refresh our skills.
Thank you for making it an experience. I have highly recommended this course to my fellow-colleagues."

“The demand for employee development with emphasis on personal effectiveness and essential business skills has significantly increased in the Middle East. As a result, we engaged Al-Futtaim Training Centre to support this demand by utilising their trainer resources to deliver GE programmes across the region. The support of a local training partner has enabled us to deliver considerably more courses on-site in the UAE and Qatar, which has resulted in measurably improved leadership skills and higher employee engagement in the region."

"Al-Futaim Training Centre has provided Maritime Industrial Services Co. soft skill training for our employees for the last two years. We have found them to be extremely professional, and the course content and delivery of the training is very effective. The role plays and case studies were relevant to the subject matter which enabled employees to retain and apply the methodology in their work scenarios."

Talent Development Centre (TDC) is an excellent tool to understand and identify pool of talent that exists within the organization. It is important that we have the right resources employed in our business in order to achieve and maintain the competitive advantage.
First of all I was really surprised when I received an e-mail nominating me for the TDC. I was apprehensive as I got the information last minute and there was very little time left to prepare. However, this turned out to be really good for me, there was no preparation required.
The best part of the TDC was the last session of Management Role Play & Case study Presentation exercise. I really enjoyed the most doing the role play as well as the business case. One of the advantages that I had was that this came in just after I completed the Frontline Business Management course.
The feedback I received was very positive and of course had some constructive feedback too. Overall this has taken me to the next level where the Senior Manager's at Hertz are aware of my talent and hopefully I am really looking forward to continual development and eventually career progression.

I must say I have improved where taking at least a step forward is concerned.
My communication with my boss has improved as I see it. I am conscious of the kind of communication we tend to indulge in, out of habit.
I witnessed a typical parent child dialogue last week in my Toys R Us office and I was about to classify my colleagues' behavior and tell them how each one was behaving as a parent and a child. However, knowing that the 'parent in the situation' had signed up for the next course, I did not say anything but remarked that 'you will realize something about your style of communication', and my comments, when you are in the training class. I am consciously trying to speak slower even though I can see the other is not listening well.
On one occasion when I made a mistake while communicating and gave some info that was not right, I was told, with a tinge of sarcasm, that I had attended the course, expecting thereby that I should change instantly.

The proposal to start up a new Retail concept has been going on since 2 years & sometime in the last qtr of 2009 we were asked to do a complete presentation to the Management & by then we had specific inputs due to the Frontline Business Management module /SWOT Analysis & this made our job easier to make a presentation to our GM /Management & finally we have our first Fashion Kiosk up & running @ the Festival City & helped us getter mileage with principals too.

We have tested out the I.T solution provided by in two of our workshop control and preparation process files and it is working like magic. We would like to thank for getting this solution for us. This saves our workshop controller approximately an hour of work every day and help in focusing on more productive activities.

The training is excellent eye opener to lot of things that I was doing but not in a professional way.
Training gave a professional touch to my knowledge.
The Content and the handout of the training were up to the mark, wish I could have one more day to learn and practice more.
The best of all was the Trainer. The training was delivered in an excellent style, I didn't feel that we were in a training room,
and there was lot of fun and learning. I didn't feel sleepy for the first time even once during these 2 days of training. The training
was delivered by the trainer in a very simple & natural way, with lot of fun and was easy to understand. Full marks to the trainer.
I recommend this training to all my colleagues.
I am going to implement what I learnt from the training starting now on in my daily routine.

Would like to thank you for having attended the project countdown personally this was new to me am particularly going to benefit especially from the charter exercise! I have been involved in a few store based projects here and am sure to implement the Gantt ! I have put together a mock session of the Gantt as this is one of the projects that our Operations Manager and myself will be targeting in March parallel to SAP.

"I started working with Toys "R" Us in 2006 and my primary aim was to grow with the company, but I never knew what exactly I had to do in order to achieve it. With the help of the training I have received, I was able to identify my strengths and weakness as well as was able to understand the concept of being assertive, which has also helped me in my personal life. Subsequently, I was also promoted to a Senior Executive acquiring a supervisory level position. My development has helped me be identified as a 'Star Performer' in my area of work and by applying the skills I have learnt, this has helped me to achieve more recognition in my company."

"Twice a year the TRU Management team take some time away from stores and offices to spend quality time together reviewing , discussing, debating issues and opportunities facing the business. The last three meetings have been enhanced by the involvement of Brett Preston from the AF Training Centre, Brett has allowed the team to continue discussions that started in the classroom and helped to ensure that learning is continuous outside of "training" and is put into practice in the workplace."

"I just wanted to let you know again how valuable I found the Personal Leadership programme. I think you have made such a difference to his own self-awareness and he came away so inspired by what he has learned. Each morning after the session, he was like a different person and I could see more confidence creeping into his attitude and work.
... I think the programme and in particular, the way you personally coached him through, has made a huge positive difference to his outlook on work.
So many thanks on his behalf and well done for such a great programme."

"Following our professional development training programme, I wanted to let you know that I have taken one step towards one of my dreams becoming a reality - driving a car in Dubai, after being here for 17 years!
So many of the fears I mentally had have almost gone away after sitting at the wheel. Feels good! Thanks again for the training programme. Having said that, I need to take out my notes and practice them!"
Note: A key theme in this class is setting goals and achieving objectives, as well time management (identifying tasks that one keeps on postponing and understanding its impact)."

"As a result of STS participating in customer service training, the entire team now understands what areas they need to work on to adopt a more customer oriented mindset. Each has been given the tools and assessment techniques to continually measure their performance. The difference is evident through improved communication and feedback from their customers. The team's ability to apply what they have learned has improved the outlook of all participants and they now have more positive and productive customer engagements."

"The recently developed HR Report was well received within Al-Futtaim's Retail division and found useful for senior management. The whole project would not have been achieved but for your advanced training for Microsoft Excel which we learned earlier at Al-Futtaim Training Centre. This proved extremely useful in exploring Excel and upgrading our skills and knowledge."
